“Austin Jet Skier has always been my jet ski mechanic. My father bought my first standup in the early 90s and Joe at AJS was our mechanic. Joe immediately became a friend of ours, as he is with everyone, and we reached out to him on many occassions. In fact, after a season or two of riding as a teenager I became Joe’s helper for my first summer job. To this day I still ride my 1988 Red Kawasaki Standup (Pencil) and I only have Joe to thank for helping me keep it afloat and running like a new ski. Joe has been a superb mechanic, mentor, and friend to me for over 15 years!!! In fact if you look at the banner picture on this website you’ll see the red standup going strong second from the far left.

As the manager of Rough Hollow Yacht Club and Marina on Lake Travis, I am constantly looking for ways to make our members happy and taken care of. I just moved here recently and have SXR 800, piped, head, etc…looking for stand ups to ride with. I have been going to Lake Austin, docking below 360 bridge.
